This massive Digambar Jain Temple was constructed in 1865 and is known for its ornate 2-storied structure.
There is a massive hall on the first floor of the Nasiyan Jain Temple adorned with wooden gilt décor. The walls of this beautiful hall are painted with miniature paintings depicting scenes from Jain mythology. Several paintings on display exhibit Jain beliefs and the Jain perspective on the world and worldly affairs.
Referred to as the Swarna Nagri, there are several gold plated sculptures that adorn the massive hall on the first floor of the Nasiyan Jain Temple.
The walls of the temple are decorated with gold, silver and gemstones of different colors. Feel peaceful and contented as you meditate in the inner sanctum of the Red Temple. The tiny silver balls suspended from the ceiling in the inner prayer chamber enchant you completely.
