The forts, palaces and monuments are the base of Rajasthan which bound the worldwide travelers to explore this wild city in all through out the year. Jama Masjid the majestic edifice located at Amber is the prime means of attraction of Jaipur. Along with several other historical monuments of Jaipur the Jama Masjid is a prominent mosque made of white marble sited within the dargah complex. The mosque is an elongated building having Persian inscriptions under its roof space which wrapped on three sides by an elaborately carved barrier.

Small pillars divide the Masjid into three parts, and the mihrab (prayer niche) is a deep star shaped alcove in the wall. The mosque is the ultimate model of rich architectural style and grandeur of past. There also remain several tiny shops just nearby the Dargah complex, displaying the traditional items of Rajasthani people for allurement of foreign tourist. The shops sell flowers and chaddars (colored silk or satin sheets) destined to be placed on the grave of the saint, but don’t get convinced into paying bulky aid in the name of the saint.
