Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary - INTRODUCTION
Located 90 kms away from Jodhpur, the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is a nature lover's delight. This famous sanctuary covers an area of 578 sq kms and is home to many exotic varieties of animals and plants.
The wild populace of Kumbalgarh mainly consists of animals like the Leopard, Sloth Bear, Hyena, Wolf, Jackal, Jungle Cat and the four horned antelope (Chausingha). Meanwhile, the park is also home to exotic animals like the Nilgai, Sambhar and Chinkara.

Kumbhalgarh Fort This majestic fort was built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. Encircled by a 36 km long wall, the fort has seven massive gates and ramparts located one within the other.
