Positioned in regal splendor on the enchanting Gangori
Ghat on the banks of the glittering Lake Pichola, Bagore
ki Haveli is a palatial structure that was constructed
by Amir Chand Badwa, who served as the Prime Minister
in the Mewar royal court.
After Amir Chand Badwa passed away this exotic medieval
mansion became the property of Mewar royal court and
was later used as a royal home by Maharana Shakti Singh
of Bagore. His highness constructed a fantastic three-storied
palace to the existing Haveli and since then this enthralling
royal home came to be known as Bagore ki Haveli.
There are more than 100 rooms at Bagore ki Haveli and
this stunning architectural wonder was condemned to
neglect till the West Zone Culture Centre revamped this
captivating architectural splendor in 1986.
