located in the northwestern part of the sub-continent. The
area of the state is 342,239 sq. km. The capital of
Rajasthan is Jaipur. There are 32 districts in Rajasthan.
The tropic of cancer passes through Banswara district of
Rajasthan. These districts are further grouped into seven
divisions. Those seven divisions are the Ajmer Division,
Bharatpur Division, Bikaner Division, Jaipur Division,
Jodhpur Division, Kota Division, and the Udaipur Division.
