Deo Somnath Temple, Dungarpur



Dungarpur better known as the shoppers’ paradise is the utmost tourist locale, hosts some of the extra ordinary brilliance as Ek Thambia Mahal, Shrinathji Temple, Juna Mahal, Baneshwar Temple, Boreshwar Mahadeo Temple, and most significantly the Deo Somnath Temple. The stunning Deo Somnath Temple stands about 25 km north of the town Dungarpur, a construction dates back to the 12th century. The Somnath stone temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and its architectural design resemblance with the exact replica of the original Somnath Temple in Gujarat. The Deo Somnath Temple also reminds the tourist about the stone temples of Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh.
